Life falls ceaselessly from the the dazzles of the matter in the dark, marked by the evil that holds things and human beings. Living is a perennial farewell. Amazement doesn’t always soothe sorrow. Pain often duplicates itself, it doesn’t give birth to beauty. And time? A bittersweet poison. Unveiled, revealed to consciousness, irreparably it escapes and becomes smoke. We are but dust and shadow, says Horace. But in the life that burns and wears out, we inhabit the wonder of the flame. We are, in endless moments, the light.

La vita precipita incessantemente dagli abbagli della materia nel buio, segnata dal male che occupa le cose e gli uomini. Vivere è un perenne addio. La meraviglia non sempre mitiga la pena.
